The Antelope Valley Church has been cleaned and refurbished and is available for use for weddings and funerals and other events. Contact any board member for more information or to schedule an event at the Church
BEFORE
The Cemetery Board had decided to tear down Antelope Valley Church as it was deteriorating. Friends of Antelope Valley Church had a big project in front of them - inside and out.
AFTER
Friends of Antelope Valley Church have been working on the exterior and have replaced windows and door, replaced gingerbread siding on the peak and bell tower and added a new stained glass window. Cracks in the wall were fixed and new stucco applied. A cement walkway was added.
Interior renovations include complete electrical rewiring, repainting and installation of split unit heating and air conditioning.
The existing flag pole at the cemetery was falling over so Friends undertook to have a new glorious flag pole fabricated and installed.
